Yes. LPS offers a range of testing services, including assessments for:

  • ADHD
  • Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) – limited availability
  • Bariatric evaluations
  • Neuropsychological testing (e.g., cognitive function, dementia)
  • Personality and related concerns

Not all insurance plans cover these services, and in some cases the cost may apply to your deductible. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to confirm coverage.

Neuropsychological testing typically requires a referral to establish medical necessity and is usually available to clients aged 18 and older.

In some cases, your insurance provider may require a referral for testing. Neuropsychological testing almost always requires a referral.

Requirements can vary by plan, so we recommend contacting your insurance provider for details. LPS can assist with any information needed for referrals or pre-approvals.

Appointment reminders include a Square payment link for upcoming or past appointments. Square also sends monthly invoices, and some clients may receive paper statements. You are welcome to contact our office to make payments by phone at any time.

We do not have any group therapy offerings open at this time. Please check back or contact our office for the most current information.

LPS provides therapy services for children as young as approximately 8 years old. Not all clinicians work with this age group, so availability can be limited. We aim to connect children with care as quickly as possible and do not maintain a long-term waitlist for children. If we are unable to meet your child’s needs, we will gladly provide referrals to other local providers.

We ask that you contact your clinician or our office at least 24 business hours before your scheduled appointment to avoid a late cancellation fee. These fees are not covered by insurance.

LPS welcomes clinicians who are interested in learning more about our practice. We offer a variety of contract and employment options. For current openings and details, please visit: https://loudounpsychology.com/moreinfo/careers.html .

Yes. When you join our practice, you will receive a document explaining our privacy and confidentiality policies as part of the intake and informed consent process. A digital copy is also available through your patient portal. During your first appointment, your clinician will review confidentiality with you and answer any questions you may have.

Our waitlist includes individuals who have recently requested therapy or testing services. The Clinical Director reviews the waitlist to determine whether we can meet your needs and connect you with a suitable clinician. If we are unable to match you with a clinician or there is a significant delay (typically more than a month), we will provide a list of recommended referrals.

At this time, we do not have clinicians with the specialized training required to provide ongoing treatment for individuals with intellectual disabilities. We are happy to offer referral options when possible.

We do not currently offer reunification therapy. If you are seeking this type of service, please contact our office and we will do our best to provide appropriate referrals.
